We Manifested a Free RV!

About 6 months ago, my partner, Vicki, and I started intending that we have an RV. Up to this time we had traversed across the country several times in my old Volvo (which has since bit the dust), Vicki's GEO Tracker (I'll never forget forget sleeping sitting upright in the tiny front seat in New Orleans just after Hurricane Katrina), and my 95 Dodge Van. As you can imagine, what with all our suitcases, food, camping gear, Puddy (my traveling kitty), and the boxes and boxes of books we carry for our workshops, we felt that a larger vehicle was in order.

Our intention was that we have a nice RV that will carry us and all our stuff comfortably, and that it comes to us freely, easily, and effortlessly. As I said, we made this intention months ago but nothing concrete had happened, so I just figured that it wasn't in our highest good for us to have the RV yet. Unbeknownst to me, however, Vicki had started envisioning herself behind the wheel of the RV a couple of weeks previous to our recent workshop tour. Our second stop on the schedule was in Arvada, Colorado just outside Denver at The Living Waters Unity Church. Our Intenderpreneur there, Nancy Robertson, did a wonderful job of setting things up for us, and as it turned out, the room was so full of people that we had to break up into several smaller circles at the end of the afternoon for saying our gratitudes and intentions. My small circle included the minister of Living Waters Unity, David Ridge, who is one of the best storytellers and happiest men you'll ever meet. When it was my turn to say my intentions, I intended three or four of my main intentions and then, almost as an afterthought, I remembered to intend the RV.

What happened next almost knocked me over backwards. Before I could say "So be it and so it is," David interrupted and said that a member of the Living Waters Unity Board had just donated a nice RV to the church three days earlier and if we needed it, we could have it!

Long story short, we drove out that night to where the RV was being stored with Paul Denny (the owner and generous benefactor), and checked it out. It turned out to be the fancy model, an 85 Chevy El Dorado and all it needed was a little TLC. Since we still had three more workshops coming up in the midwest, we left town the following day, completed our tour, and then came back through Denver two weeks later on our way back home. After an hour's tinkering, the RV started up like a champ and we drove it across Wolf Creek Pass into Pagosa Springs where we live. Right now, it's sitting in our driveway, and every time I walk by it, I give it a rub and thank the Universe for such an amazing manifestation.

And to think . . . all we had to do was intend it.

Welcome back, Tina!

Last month we updated you on what's been going on with Tina Stober and Lee Ching. For those of you who are new to the Intenders, Tina is one of the 4 original Intenders and she's the one (along with Lee Ching) who leads the meditation in the Intenders video. It was Tina who "brought through" Lee Ching who helped us in the early years to create the format which has been so successful for our Intenders Circles. We didn't know it at the time, (although it didn't take us long to figure out) that Tina was a messenger of the highest order.

When the Intenders began to grow, we all had decisions to make. While my calling took me to "the mainland" to share what we were learning, Tina chose to stay in Hawaii and set her roots deeper into the Big Island. She even retired from channeling for awhile, but recently called and said that her inner guides and helpers were nudging her to make herself available to the public again. So we ran an article last month announcing this, and the response was tremendous. She's been having up to six readings a day with people from all over the world. Not only that, but the emails and calls that have come into "Intenders Central" are filled of praise for her and the deep, peaceful, highly insightful quality of her readings.

In short, the work of Tina and Lee Ching is equivalent in quality to the Hicks/Abraham, Kryon, CWG, and information of that caliber. If you would like to contact Tina, she can be reached at 808-982-6774 in Hawaii. Please be respectful of the time difference - it's between 2 and 5 hours earlier in Hawaii than in the continental US. She works on a love offering basis and commonly receives from $50 to $200 for a session.

That which you are reaching for
is also reaching out to you

CJ's Garbage Truck Story

As a rule of thumb we usually receive several emails in response to each of the Intenders Bridge Messages. To our great surprise, however, when we sent out #116 on the subject of Humility and freeing ourselves from taking things personally when others lash out in a hurtful, angry way to what we have said or done, we received so many letters we haven't been able to answer them all yet. One of the best of these came from our new friend, CJ, in Missouri. We'd like to share it with you.

I would like you to know that your Bridge messages have truly changed my life. When something starts to go wrong, I dismiss it with lessons I have learned from your messages. May I share a short message someone emailed me this fall? Please read this and I hope your day will be better for it. This was attributed to George Carlin -- it may or may not be his.

"How often do you let other people's nonsense change your mood? Do you let a bad driver, rude waiter, curt boss, or an insensitive employee ruin your day? Unless you're the Terminator, for an instant you're probably set back on your heels. However, the mark of a successful person is how quickly they can re-focus on what's important.

Twenty-two years ago I learned this lesson. I learned it in the back of a Philadelphia taxi. Here's what happened. I hopped in a taxi, and we took off for Reading Terminal. We were driving in the right lane when all of a sudden a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his breaks, skidded, and missed the other car's back end by just inches!

Here's what happened next. The driver of the OTHER car, the guy who almost caused a big accident, whipped his head around and he started yelling obscenities at US. Now, here's what blew me away. My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean he was friendly. So, I said, "Why did you just do that??? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!" And this is when my taxi driver told me what I now call, "The Law of the Garbage Truck."

Many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it. And if you let them, they'll dump it on you. When someone wants to dump on you, don't take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. You'll be happy you did. I guarantee it."

So this was it: The "Law of the Garbage Truck." I started thinking, how often do I let Garbage Trucks run right over me? And how often do I take their garbage and spread it to other people: at work, at home, on the streets?

It was that day I said, "I'm not going to do it anymore." I began to see garbage trucks. Like in the movie "The Sixth Sense," the little boy said, "I see Dead People." Well, now "I see Garbage Trucks." I see the load they're carrying. I see them coming to drop it off. And like my Taxi Driver, I don't make it a personal thing; I just smile, wave, wish them well, and I move on.

One of my favorite football players of all time, Walter Payton, did this every day on the football field. He would jump up as quickly as he hit the ground after being tackled. He never dwelled on a hit. Payton was ready to make the next play his best. Good leaders know they have to be ready for their next meeting. Good parents know that they have to welcome their children home from school with hugs and kisses. Leaders and parents know that they have to be fully present, and at their best for the people they care about.

The bottom line is that successful people do not let Garbage Trucks take over their day. What about you? What would happen in your life, starting today, if you let more garbage trucks pass you by?

Here's my bet. You'll be happier. In fact, I guarantee it.

CJ

The Code Book 1 Heads for the Presses

Since so many of you have backordered The Code Book 1, we would like to keep you posted on how it's going. As you know, The Code was picked up by Red Wheel/Weiser Books last summer. Last week they called and told us that they are right on schedule to take it to press on November 28th which means that they will have it in stock, as promised, in mid January. It will be published under the title of The Code with a subtitle of 10 Intentions for a Better World. Our subtitle, Intentions in Action, is now set up to be on the back cover of the book. At this time we are continuing to take backorders everyday, and you can be assured that we will ship it out to you just as soon as it comes in.

Shawn Galloway - Music for The Code

When we were in Atlanta last summer we had the distinct pleasure of meeting our friend, Shawn Galloway, at the Humanity's Team convention there. For those who are unfamiliar with Shawn's work, he is a musician par excellance. His CD, I Choose Love, is about as inspiring as it gets, and to our good fortune, he suggested that he write a song about The Code and it's 10 Intentions for a Better World. Well, it wasn't a month later when we were at an Intenders Circle in Asheville, NC that Shawn joined us and lit up the whole room with his new song, The Code.

In fact, we had such an amazing response to it that evening that we decided to make some intentions around this beautiful song. We intended that all of the people and resources needed to get Shawn into the studio so he could professionally record it come to us easily and effortlessly. As of today we are part way there, so we thought it would be a good idea if we asked you to align with us and share our intention that Shawn's song about The Code is recorded and played all across the world.

If you would like to know more and/or help us with this endeavor, you can contact Shawn Galloway at shawn@intenders.com. Who knows, perhaps he'll even arrange for you to give it a listen.

A Few Words from Lee Ching at Thanksgiving

As a final word at this time of Thanksgiving, we would like to share a few words from our friend, Lee Ching, that are excerpted from a recent Intenders Bridge Reminder.

Be open. You are here to receive. But first, in order for you to be fully open to receiving and experiencing your financial, as well as your inner well being, you must tune into your own gratitude and be grateful for whatever it is that you already have in your life. Remember your gifts. When you give freely of your gifts you will be highly rewarded in every way imaginable. Then, all you have to do is ask for what you want; be open for what you deserve; and be a willing and ready receiver for the highest of gifts. Gifts from the Universe. Magical and miraculous gifts . . .
